COVID-19 Challenges for Learning and Performance Professionals Series: Interview with Kirsten Giles, Creative Director, Pale Blue Design, Inc.

Kirsten Giles, Creative Director, Pale Blue Design, Inc.

Kirsten will describe how COVID-19 is creating new obstacles to designs-in-progress and how three clients took three different approaches to the pivot:
  1. How a large commercial truck OEM reimagined their course as a "Netflix"-style learning series
  2. How a non-profit organization moved their experiential learning events to the popular zoom platform
  3. How an elite organizational-change consulting team devised an event-based webinar series for education and prospecting

Kirsten has more than 25 years of experience in training and performance improvement for the automotive industry and numerous Fortune 100 companies including AT&T, Audi, DirectTV, Ford, Hilton Hotels, Hyundai/Genesis, Mercedes-Benz, Nextel Wireless, The Rikess Group, Subaru, and Toyota/Lexus.

With a Master of Science in Adult Learning from University of Southern California and proven consulting and organizational development skills in a variety of dealership and corporate settings, she has designed and delivered on strategic initiatives with positive results.  She also founded and is Creative Director for Pale Blue Design, Inc, a custom e-learning company.
