COVID-19 Challenges for Learning and Performance Professionals Series: Interview with Marty Rosenheck, Ph.D.

Marty Rosenheck, Ph.D.  CEO and Chief Learning Strategist at Cognitive Advisors

In this ISPI SoCal Challenges InterviewDr. Marty Rosenheck will discuss how the digital economy is creating change at an unprecedented and accelerating rate.  To thrive in this environment, organizations, teams, and individuals need to continually adapt and learn.  It is no longer sufficient to build adjunct training programs.

In this session we will address:

  • How we work with our business partners to embed learning into all aspects of our organization
  • How we support the creation and cultivation of learning loops and knowledge flows that add real value
  • How we use the principles from complex adaptive systems, biological and cultural evolution, cognitive science, design thinking, lean and agile learning to explore how we weave learning into the very fabric of our organizations

Marty Rosenheck, Ph.D., CEO and Chief Learning Strategist at Cognitive Advisors, provides talent development, learning experience design, and learning technology ecosystem consulting. He is a thought leader and sought-after consultant, speaker, and writer on the application of cognitive science research to learning and performance.

Marty has over 30 years of experience. He has created award-winning learning experiences, designed learning ecosystems, developed cognitive apprenticeship programs, built performance support systems, conducted needs assessments, specified learning paths, constructed virtual learning environments, and developed formal, informal, and social learning strategies for dozens of nonprofit and for-profit organizations.
