 ISPI SoCal Presents: Diversity Chats
Part of ISPI SoCal's Self-As-Instrument Series

*Registration for this cohort based annual event is closed. Registration for the 2022 cohort opens March of 2022.

Session Description:

Organization Development practitioners often speak about honing self-as-instrument as a key factor in recognizing the effects of a consultants implicit bias on their client.

In this 14-week  Diversity & Inclusion offering, you will have the opportunity to hone your self-as-instrument using an audio documentary and quarterly Diversity Chats with professional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practitioners. This program is open to full-time Organization Development practitioners and Human Resource Executives. It is a deep dive into facilitating racial dialog. Participants should plan to attend all sessions in the series as each meeting builds on the content of the last. Study is required between meetings. Seats are limited to eight in order to maintain an atmosphere where participants may lean into brave conversation.

This program uses a learning group format. As a learning group, you will have the opportunity to explore the construction of race in America using a Peabody-nominated fourteen-part audio documentary series.

While this program has limited registration, a waiting list is enabled. Adding additional sessions is under consideration.
